America's Decline: Can the World's Superpower Survive?
America's potential disappearance as a global superpower raises serious concerns about the future. Dinesh D'Souza explores this possibility in his documentary "America: Imagine the World Without Her."

D'Souza, an Indian immigrant who pursued the American dream, identifies two critical factors that historically made America exceptional, as observed by Alexis de Tocqueville:
- A strong entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic
- Deep religious foundations in society
Current trends show both these pillars weakening, with statistics indicating declining work ethic and religious participation among Americans.
America's wealth arose from two main sources:
- Entrepreneurial spirit and production capacity
- Biblical promises of national greatness (according to scripture)
The greatest threat to America may come from within, as Abraham Lincoln warned:
"If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."
Several indicators of American decline include:
- Diminishing work ethic
- Decreasing religious adherence
- Economic challenges
- Social division
- Declining global influence
Biblical prophecy suggests a period called "the time of Jacob's trouble" (Jeremiah 30:7), which some interpret as including America's future military defeat and captivity. The Bible offers guidance for protection during this time through repentance and adherence to divine laws.
For preservation of the American dream and national strength, a return to the foundational principles of strong work ethic and moral values appears crucial.
