What God Sees When People Judge You
When others criticize us, it's natural to feel hurt. Recently, I experienced public criticism on Facebook, with someone calling me arrogant and "full of flaws." Instead of responding defensively, I took these words to prayer.

This approach taught me a valuable lesson: bringing our hurts into God's light leads to clarity and peace. When someone accused me of being "full of myself," I asked God directly: "Have I become arrogant? Is there something in me that doesn't bring You joy?"
His response came through Scripture: "A man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7 ESV). This wasn't a public validation but a personal reassurance that transformed my perspective.
We may never understand why people act certain ways, but we can find comfort in knowing who God is - patient and loving. When facing criticism or self-doubt, remember Psalm 139:23-24 (NIV):
"Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."
Standing pure before God matters more than defending ourselves publicly. True peace comes not from winning arguments but from being right with God.
You are a miracle!
