Satan's Removal: The Key to Ending Sin and Suffering
After Christ's return, He will establish a kingdom of peace by first addressing the root cause of sin and suffering. This transformative process begins with removing Satan's influence from humanity.
The Bible reveals that God, characterized by love (1 John 4:8), desires humans to live fulfilling lives (Jeremiah 29:11; John 10:10). However, since Adam and Eve's decision to reject God's guidance in the Garden of Eden, humanity has lived apart from His law, influenced by Satan's deception.

Chain breaking with Bible verse
Satan, described in Revelation 12:9 as the one who "deceives the whole world," has led humanity toward destruction through war, violence, and corruption. At Christ's return, this obstacle to peace will be removed. According to Revelation 20:1-2, an angel will bind Satan for 1,000 years, preventing him from deceiving nations.
The effects of Satan's removal will be profound:
- The end of his negative spiritual influence (Ephesians 2:2)
- Cessation of worldwide deception (John 8:44)
- Opportunity for humanity to reconcile with God
- Establishment of God's law throughout the earth (Isaiah 2:3)
During the Millennium, most people will accept Christ's leadership and live by His laws. Though some rebellion may occur, it will be addressed swiftly (Zechariah 14:18-19).
