Storm in the Sky: A Divine Wake-up Call Above the Clouds
From high above in a plane, witnessing an awe-inspiring lightning storm every 5 seconds illuminating massive clouds, I couldn't help but worship: "My God, how great and mighty you are!"

In that moment of divine connection, God revealed something profound. He shared that His disappointment doesn't stem from our stumbles and falls, but rather from our inattention to His presence. Even I needed hundreds of lightning bolts before putting down my headphones and pausing my phone's movie to truly notice His majesty.
Our modern lives are filled with constant distractions. We chase one highlight after another, always seeking the next stimulus, often requiring dramatic events to turn our attention back to what's eternal.
This experience deeply moved me. It inspired a personal commitment to be more present - to consciously put away distractions and focus more on Him who was, who is, and who is to come.
As the Bible reminds us in Colossians 3:2 (NLT): "Set your minds on things above."
The choice is simple yet profound: Don't get distracted; instead, choose to be directed toward Him. Take a moment today to reflect: How aware are you of the presence of the One who is eternal?
