Will You Welcome Others With Love Instead of Judgment?
The power of approaching others with love and understanding, rather than judgment, is beautifully illustrated in the biblical story of Apollos.

In Acts 18:26, we encounter Apollos, an eloquent speaker who passionately shared his newfound faith in Jesus, though his understanding was incomplete. Rather than publicly criticizing him, Priscilla and Aquila chose a different approach. They invited him into their home and privately explained "the way of God more accurately."
This gracious approach teaches us several valuable lessons:
- Meet people where they are
- Choose private correction over public humiliation
- Lead with understanding and hospitality
- Put relationships before being right
Today's world is full of differing beliefs and misunderstandings about faith. Whether online or in person, we encounter many who either oppose God or mix faith with other beliefs. The temptation to correct others publicly or respond with criticism is strong, but ineffective.
Remember: "Know-it-alls" destroy, while love heals. When we approach others with genuine love and seek to understand their perspective, we create space for God to work in their hearts.
Let's follow Priscilla and Aquila's example by choosing love first, creating safe spaces for learning, and guiding others with gentleness rather than judgment. This approach not only honors God but also opens doors for genuine transformation.
